Modular-M Series SWRO Equipment
M series watermaker use one button ON/OFF.
A separated chemical cleaning unit (CCU) is only required for service center.
HAFE M series is designed for following mode:
There is service center who own or manage the watermakers.
CPU is installed on the fishing boat, yacht, self-help hotel or temporary housing or rented by the user.
User takes or rents MU from service center for temporary use, and after that return the MU.
MU is maintained and reserved though CCU by service center, and shall be ready for next rent.
HAFE watermaker are designed and manufactured on the basis of the industrial standard: ASME, ASTM, IEC, etc.
1) Separated design for CPU, MU and chemical cleaning unit simplify the use of the system, user don’t need to take care of reservation or maintenance of membrane.
2) Light weight, the CPU could be lifted by 2 person, MU could be carried by 1 person.
3) 5 micron absolute filter ensure the safe operation of high pressure pump and RO membrane.
4) Super duplex high pressure pump using axial piston principle from Danfoss, higher efficient, lighter, more compact than common plunger pump, and service life is up to 3 year.
5) High pressure hose lower the vibration and noise level, simplify the pipe connection.
6) Non-welding duplex pipe and fittings, long life and highly corrosion resistant, no need to worry about the corrosion for long-term contact with seawater.
7) High salt rejection RO membrane from Dow.
8) Baking varnish housing make the system more fashionable and better looking.
9) SS304 frame with baking varnish paint avoid the corrosion from salt fog and leaking.
10) Optional Carbon filter removes the possible hazardous organic compound in the product water.
11) Optional cartridge filter prolong the service life.
Feed water requirement
Salinity (TDS) | 20,000-45,000 mg/L |
Temperature | 5-40 °C |
Turbidity | < 1 NTU |
COD | < 10 mg/L |
Ferrous (Fe2+) | < 0.1 mg/L |
Manganese (Mn2+) | < 0.1 mg/L |
Note: if the feed water is worse than above, extra pretreatment might be needed. Please contact us for solutions. |
Product water quality
Standard 1) | acceptable drinking water quality for WHO (4th edition) |
Conductivity (online monitoring) 2) | < 1000 μS/cm |
Note: 1) If the source water is natural seawater (or salt water) 2) If the water is for clean, higher conductivity might be acceptable |
