Axial Plunger High Pressure Pump
DHP 1.0 Axial Piston Pump (High Pressure Pump For Industrial Reverse Osmosis)
1. Basic Background (Extracted Core Content from Chapters 1 and 2 of the Manual)1.1 Product Positioning and Core AdaptabilityDHP 1.0 is a representative model of the DHP series of Axial Piston Pumps, designed for small and medium-sized industrial reverse osmosis systems such as seawater desalination
DHP 1.0 is a representative model of the DHP series of Axial Piston Pumps, designed for small and medium-sized industrial reverse osmosis systems such as seawater desalination and industrial desalination. It is mainly used to transport low-viscosity corrosive fluids like seawater and industrial saline wastewater. Its design is intended to address the "efficient transportation + low pollution" needs of small and medium-sized systems — it uses the transported fluid itself as the lubricating medium, eliminating the need for a traditional lubricating oil tank and fundamentally avoiding oil leakage pollution, which perfectly meets the strict cleanliness requirements for seawater and industrial wastewater.
Meanwhile, this pump features a compact structure (weighing only 3.7 kg), with low pulse and low noise during operation (≤74 dB(A) in accordance with EN ISO 3744-2010 standard). It also integrates a flushing check valve, which simplifies the pipeline design of reverse osmosis membrane systems, reduces installation space and costs, and is particularly suitable for small island seawater desalination equipment and workshop-level industrial wastewater desalination devices.
Working Principle and Key Advantages
Based on the principle of axial piston pumps, DHP 1.0 achieves high-pressure fluid transportation by the reciprocating movement of plungers parallel to the drive shaft in plunger bores, which changes the volume of the pump cavity. For seawater desalination and industrial desalination scenarios, it has two key advantages:

Pump Flow Curve
DHP 1.0 belongs to the DHP0.6~1.0 series. Under a working pressure of 80 Bar, the flow rate has a strictly proportional relationship with the rotational speed (a characteristic of fixed-displacement pumps). The flow curve on Page 14 of the manual allows for intuitive query of the flow rate corresponding to different rotational speeds: the horizontal axis represents rotational speed (700~3450 rpm), and the vertical axis represents flow rate (0~1.25 m³/h). For example, at a rotational speed of 1500 rpm, the flow rate is approximately 0.46 m³/h; at 2500 rpm, it is approximately 0.77 m³/h; and when reaching the rated rotational speed of 3000 rpm, the flow rate stabilizes at 0.92 m³/h.
If it is necessary to calculate the target rotational speed based on actual needs, the formula provided in the manual can be used:
Selected Motor Speed (r/min) = (Required Flow Rate (m³/h) × Rated Speed 3000 (r/min)) / Rated Flow Rate 0.92 (m³/h)
For instance, when an industrial desalination system requires a flow rate of 0.6 m³/h, the required rotational speed is (0.6×3000)/0.92 ≈ 1957 rpm, which is accurate and easy to calculate.

Power Parameters
The power of DHP 1.0 varies with the working pressure. The power requirements at the rated speed of 3000 rpm are as follows:
| Pump Model | Rated Flow (L/min) | Rated Flow (m³/h) | Power at 60 Bar | Power at 70 Bar | Power at 80 Bar | Rated Speed (rpm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DHP 1.0 | 15.3 | 0.92 | 2.2 kW | 2.2 kW | 3.0 kW | 3000 |
The working pressure of seawater desalination systems is usually 70~80 Bar, so a 3.0 kW motor is recommended to ensure stable pump operation without energy waste; for industrial desalination scenarios with lower pressure (e.g., below 60 Bar), a 2.2 kW motor can meet the requirements, effectively reducing the energy consumption cost of the system.
